Last Friday, YCIS Chongqing’s campus was abuzz with excitement as we celebrated our annual Humanities Day, a flagship event that brings together creativity, critical thinking, and cultural exploration.
This year’s theme, “What’s Next? From the Past to the Future”, inspired our students to connect historical insights with visionary ideas, creating a vibrant tapestry of knowledge and innovation. With confidence and poise, our young scholars presented their projects to peers, teachers, and parents.
The topics ranged from envisioning "Sustainable Cities" of the future, to the far-reaching implications of “The Impact of the Silk Road’s Historic Legacy on China’s Economic Future” and the fascinating journey of “The Evolution of the Mind: How Historical Foundations Are Shaping Psychology’s Future.”
Each presentation was a testament to innovative research, global awareness, and insatiable intellectual curiosity. The winning projects from each year level are remarkable and a source of great pride. Congratulations to them!
The enthusiasm displayed by our students was inspiring, earning admiration and applause from all who attended. We are proud of their achievements and can’t wait to see what they will uncover in next year’s journey into the humanities.
