    • Recently, our Year 6 students connected online with their peers at Rainbow International School (RIS) in Uganda. This virtual learning exchange provided a unique opportunity for students to delve into the intricacies of different biomes.

During the session, students from RIS presented their unique biome, captivating their audience with insights into Uganda's diverse environments, including vibrant ecosystems and distinct weather patterns. Two YCIS students also showcased an innovative biome project made from recycled materials, highlighting the importance of sustainability and resourcefulness.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A, fostering meaningful discussions on environmental conservation and cultural differences. As one YCIS student remarked, “This experience has opened our eyes to how interconnected we are through our ecosystems.”

This exchange exemplified the power of technology in bridging geographical gaps and enhancing global awareness among young learners.
