On February 12th 2018, all the YCIS students, staffs, and parents gathered together to celebrate the Year of the Dog by holding a cultural performance and varied fun activities in campus!

The Chinese New Year celebration started with the traditional Lion Dance Show at clock tower area. Everyone was amazed by the professional skills brought by the artists and it is no doubt the highlight of the event! Our primary campus was decorated with balloons to create a festive atmosphere. Students wore different styles of Chinese traditional clothes and clothes from other cultural groups. Our creative Chinese teachers prepared twelve games for students to win food tickets. A good street organized by the Parent Organization was definitely an eye-catching spot for all, as no one can resist the great taste of the delicious food!

Our secondary students enjoyed themselves a lot in different fun activities. They were dividing into different groups and each group competed with each other to win their good luck in the amazing race.

Great thanks to our superb Parent Organization who worked so hard to provide a free snack street for everyone to enjoy. Also, many thanks to all students, staffs and parents engaged in this event. Without all your support and partricipation, we were not able to experience such a New Year feast.

We wish all YCIS family a happy Spring Festival. With the joyful spirits, we cannot wait for next year’s celebrations. Thanks again and Happy New Year to everyone.
