This week, our school was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as we hosted a spectacular Chinese Speaking Contest. This event was truly a one-of-a-kind celebration of the art of the Chinese language, a vibrant showcase of our students’ passion and love for this beautiful linguistic heritage.
For three exhilarating days, our students from every Primary year level took center stage, captivating everyone with their original writing texts. The topics varied from the enchanting celebration of seasons to the mesmerizing beauty of animals, especially the specific Chinese symbolic animal—the Panda. They drew inspiration from the rich tapestry of Chinese cultural and natural heritage, weaving stories of Chengdu, Xi’an, and the West Lake.
The students’ passionate expressions, their exquisite use of beautiful Chinese words, and their incredibly stable and confident stage presence left everyone in awe. It was a mesmerizing display of talent and dedication.
