Last Friday, our school auditorium came alive during the YCIS Chongqing Bilingual Poetry Contest. Lower and Upper Primary students took to the stage, sharing heartfelt recitations in both English and Chinese.

The audience witnessed an inspiring display of creativity and confidence as young voices filled the room. From classic poems to original works, each performance demonstrated our students' growing bilingual fluency and artistic expression.

This year, we were especially honored to welcome a distinguished panel of judges from the YCYW Education Foundation. Their professional expertise helped maintain the contest's high standards while ensuring a fair and meaningful experience for every participant.

Families cheered enthusiastically as children showcased their language skills and stage presence. The event highlighted how poetry beautifully bridges cultures while building students' communication abilities.

This celebration of language reinforces our commitment to nurturing articulate, creative thinkers. We're already looking forward to hearing more young voices blossom in next year's contest!
