    • What a week it’s been for our Primary students! From panda cuddles in Chengdu to futuristic tech in Chongqing and ancient warriors in Xi’an, our Year 3, 5, and 6 students hit the road for a week of unforgettable learning. These weren’t just field trips—they were journeys of curiosity, courage, and connection.

Year 3: Young Innovators on the Move

Our Year 3 explorers dove headfirst into the future with a trip to the Tesla Theme Store and Chongqing Science Museum. From experimenting with forces and motion to exploring real-world solutions for sustainability, students were wide-eyed with wonder as they discovered how science and innovation can help shape a better world. Their minds buzzed with questions, ideas, and dreams of a greener tomorrow!

Year 5: Pandas, Sichuan cuisines, and Personal Growth

Chengdu welcomed our Year 5 adventurers with open arms (and spicy dishes)! Students got up close with adorable pandas, wandered through ancient towns, and even competed in a high-stakes “MasterChef”-style cooking challenge using ingredients they sourced themselves. Between designing Sichuan opera masks, crafting bamboo fans, and sampling fiery Chuan Chuan, this trip was a feast for all the senses. For many, it was a first taste of independence—and they rose to the occasion with pride.

      Year 6: Stepping Into History

The ancient city of Xi’an became a living classroom for our Year 6 students as they traced the footsteps of merchants and emperors along the Silk Road. From marveling at the Terracotta Army to exploring the Geely Auto Factory, students experienced the powerful blend of past and present. They even rolled up their sleeves for a traditional Chinese craft workshop and sampled local street food that had everyone asking for seconds!

These trips were about building memories, broadening minds, and bonding as a community. We’re incredibly proud of how our students represented our school—with curiosity, respect, and a whole lot of heart.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families who made these adventures possible. Stay tuned for our upcoming trips from other year levels!
