The secondary Chinese department held activities to celebrate Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn Festival — The Global Riddle Lantern Fair.

This fair connected our students to the local culture, and they experienced the intermingling of cultures. Our secondary students made their own global lantern riddles that had both Chinese ones and English ones. The students not only felt the atmosphere of a traditional Chinese festival but also realized the charm of different languages and cultural programming.

All of us now understand the meaning of an ancient Chinese poem though this activity: The bright moon is rising above the sea, everyone faraway enjoys the same moment.
