The 4th YCIS Chongqing Annual Parent Retreat, held on June 4th, 2024, united over 80 parents in a significant milestone for our school community.

Titled “Dance with Emotions, Parenting for Children's Positive Growth”, it aimed to address the challenges parents face in their own emotional well-being while supporting their children's development, fostering a deeper understanding of parent-child relationships.

Chinese Co-Principal Jessie Xiao delivered an insightful session on "Listening Mindfully," emphasizing effective communication between parents and children. The interactive discussion, led by Psychological Counselor, Ms. Ji, explored "The Spiritual Growth of Parents," empowering parents to become emotionally resilient caregivers.

The Retreat showcased our commitment to the shared responsbility between school and home in character formation, nurturing a vibrant and engaged school community. We eagerly anticipate next year's retreat, where we will continue to foster growth, connection, and collaboration among our dedicated parents.
