As our Year 13 students begin their preparations for upcoming examinations, we wanted to take this opportunity to share with you how successful they have been securing university acceptances. Gaining acceptances to these kinds of universities, doesn’t just happen by accident, YCIS Chongqing provides an excellent University Guidance programme to support our students with their educational journey. Our students receive substantial guidance and support in choosing their IGCSE and IBDP subjects at the key decision points.

The University Guidance Programme includes a comprehensive structure over two years, exploring options and developing skills in Year 12 and moving on to focused support in Year 13. Support for SAT’s is also offered to students. All students receive a one-to-one support in Year 12 to formulate their individual action plan. Drop-in clinics are offered for students to receive help on university choices, writing personal statements and personal essays. We are confident that the personalized support and advice available in Year 12 & 13 means there should be no need to seek help elsewhere.
