    • The Secondary Chinese Department has recently held an activity to celebrate the traditional Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn Festival —the hand-painted Chinese round fan.

This activity aims to let students experience the cultural customs of the Mid-Autumn festival and understand its cultural artistic conception. It’s also a good chance for them to cultivate their cultural awareness and humanitarian sensibilities. All beautiful pictures painted on the fan surfaces represent students’ unique understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

During this activity, the students not only felt the atmosphere of a traditional Chinese festival but also expressed their best wishes with an ancient Chinese poem: May we all be blessed with longevity, though far apart, we are still able to share the beauty of the moon together.
