YCIS is thrilled to announce that one of our 2018 graduates, Hahun Lee, has been admitted to one of the top three universities in Korea! A big congratulations to Hahun and his family. We know the entire YCIS community is very proud of his achievement.

Hahun Lee enrolled at YCIS Chongqing in August 2014. He started in our IGCSE program after moving from Beijing. His academic skills and diligent nature became unmistakable when we achieved outstanding results in all seven IGCSE subjects, receiving all As and A*s. Following this, he was presented the “ICE Distinction” certification from the Cambridge Examination Center. Hahun did not slow down when he reached Year 12 and 13, managing top results in his AS and A Level examinations, once again, receiving all As.

An immensely hardworking student, Hahun has managed to maintain superb grades in subjects such as math, chemistry, physics, English and Chinese throughout high school. He has demonstrated his vast knowledge on a number of external standardized exams such as SAT, TOEFL, and AP.

Not only was Hahun strong in academics at YCIS, but he was also a well-rounded student. As a member of the YCIS Student Council for three consecutive years, Hahun was treasurer and ran many events on campus. Additionally, Hahun participated in many school activities, including sports and music. He was also an active member of the YCIS Yearbook Committee from 2015-2018.

By the time Hahun graduated from YCIS in June 2018, he received an offer from Hong Kong University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree of Science. He was privileged with an additional offer from Korea University. We once again look forward to hearing good news about Hahun’s experience in this prestigious institution and wish him all the best in his future studies.
