    • As the 2025–2026 school year approached its final moments, YCIS Chongqing finished strong with the last school week of the academic year. True to our tradition, we hosted our Annual Awards Ceremonies to celebrate what matters most: growth, achievement, leadership, and heart.

Primary Awards Ceremony: Celebrating Progress That Matters

On Tuesday, June 16, our Primary Awards Ceremony lit up the week with pride and positivity. In the YCIS tradition, we recognized students not only for their results, but also for the qualities that show they are becoming their best selves. These celebrations served as powerful reminders that every step of progress counts, and every effort deserves recognition.

Secondary Awards Ceremony: More Music, More Motivation

Our Secondary Awards Ceremony brought even more energy, featuring musical performances and motivational speeches to make the occasion even more meaningful.

To inspire our students, we were honored to welcome Mr. Valentín Touris, Consulate General of Uruguay in Chongqing,. His message reminded students that dreams are real—and with determination, they can become achievable.

In addition to our annual awards, we also announced our selected 2026–2027 Scholarship recipients, recognizing students who have demonstrated exceptional talent, commitment, and dedication:

      • Talent Award for Sports: Year 11 — Yancy Sun
      • Talent Award for Science and Technology: Year 11 — Declan Dumbrill
      • Talent Award for Music: Year 13 — Qiqi Zheng
      • IBDP Award: Year 13 — Yuly Liu

Congratulations to all our recipients. Your hard work and discipline have truly paid off—and today’s recognition is only the beginning.

To our students who showed up, learned relentlessly, and kept growing: thank you for everything you’ve done this year. We celebrate you now, and we look forward to seeing what you achieve next.
