    • On February 7th, students and teachers of YCIS Chongqing came together to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Dragon.

Parents were invited to ECE for a Chinese New Year Play and Stay event. Students, parents, and teachers had a wonderful time painting dragons, making tangyuan, and playing a fun game of pin the mustache on the dragon.

In Primary, the day began with a themed assembly, followed by four exciting activities: dumpling making, dragon painting, dragon dance, and hula-hooping. These activities brought immense joy and engagement to the students.

The Secondary hosted the spectacular "Dragon Shines" Spring Festival show, featuring a captivating Chinese drum performance and a mesmerizing dragon dance. The show brilliantly blended traditional and modern Chinese elements, showcasing the exceptionally unique talents of our secondary students.

Adding to the excitement, the Parent Organization organized a lion dance, a traditional Chinese folk activity. They also distributed chocolates to spread good fortune and happiness.

YCIS Chongqing wishes everyone a prosperous and happy Chinese New Year!
