On Thursday, November 13, YCIS Chongqing hosted student and staff visitors from the First Nations of Canada, creating a unique cultural exchange that provided an exciting opportunity for both our students and distinguished guests - a visit that underscored the importance of global connections and understanding.
The First Nations, representing Canada’s rich Indigenous heritage, chose YCIS Chongqing as their exclusive destination in the city. During their visit, they explored our state-of-the-art campus and engaged with our staff and students to delve into traditional Chinese culture.
Students paired with their visiting buddies, fostering friendships through meaningful cultural exchange. Together, they exploreed Dunhuang art and learned traditional Chinese Tai Chi, creating unforgettable memories and enriching their experiences.
This event showcased YCIS Chongqing's dedication to offering diverse opportunities while enhancing students' understanding of cultural diversity, fostering a global perspective through meaningful interactions.
We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this event's success and look forward to creating more meaningful experiences for our students and international visitors.
