Winter, a season of gusty, chilled, empty nights, meant to be spent together among the warmth and comfort of people`s hearts. A season for YCIS Chongqing to generate a life pulsating night anew.

The YCIS Student Council was honored to host the Winter Dance on December 9 and offered students the opportunity to find themselves in awe again. This time, wanting to exceed expectations, ambitions for a qualitative event grew ceaselessly. It then was established that the theme of the upcoming night shall be “Hollywood”. Burgundy-red carpets, gleaming Oscars, iridescent flowers, and an exotic juice bar were all dreamy ideas pursued and accomplished. Although, facing stressful planning, budgets, the motivation, and support from the school made it possible for students to enkindle authentic, unforgettable memories of the dance. I can still see students` eyes sparkle with joy, capturing pure pleasure with their smiles and eyes. I can still feel the dance floor moving to the Macarena. I can still hear the comforting tunes played by the performing bands.

The YCIS Chongqing Winter Dance has definitely become a successful tradition that brings joy to all Secondary students. And I personally hope that we keep embracing this tradition with love and unity.
