Relaxation can be defined as a lessening of or rest from work, worry, or effort. It is our body’s way of rejuvenating and resetting as it allows time for our mind and body to repair. Taking time to relax is essential to both our mental and physical health, especially during times of high stress.

Over the last 9 weeks our students, YCIS staff and families have all come together to overcome a very stressful time. This week some of our students and staff have continued to participate in relaxing Creative Healing activities to support their mental health and well-being. With next week’s e-learning break approaching quickly it is important for everyone to step away from our screens and take time to relax alone or with your family.
