    • Chilly weather never comes by itself to YCIS in December! At this time of the year, YCIS Parent Organization often brings warm holiday greetings to the campus! In early November, our PO leaders started to work on the Christmas decoration project and the goal is to dress the campus up with holiday decor that is beautiful as well as environmentally friendly.

In the last two weeks, we have seen PO volunteers busy checking existing storage, trying their best to reuse the decoration materials from the past, and it was not an easy job! They even played as carpenters to fix broken pieces and reconnected them properly. The shopping list of additional items to purchase was well discussed by our diligent PO members and the arrival of the shipments kicked off the “Big Day” – project launch!

On Monday, December 2nd, the amazing creativity of our volunteer parents was evident as they transformed the campus into a Christmas wonderland! From the school gate to the entrance area, from the lobby to the hallways, Santa and Christmas cheer has arrived!

Sincere thanks to our supportive PO members who have brought us such a lovely environment! As Christmas break is fast approaching, we wish the whole school community a successful completion of Semester 1 and upcoming happy holidays!
