Year 1 and Year 2 have been exploring the story Goldilocks and The Three Bears. Within Year 1, the children have learnt the story through actions. They have enjoyed exploring the character Goldilocks and have created WANTED posters which are up around school. The Year 2’s have had fun learning the story and have written their own version, by changing the characters.

On Thursday 19^th September, we saw the opportunity to share amongst our learning communities. The Year 1 children performed a retelling of the story to the Year 2 children which they really enjoyed. The Year 2 children were very excited to share their own version of the story. The stories were retold in a variety of languages to support the children’s learning.

It is always great to see children sharing their learning across different year levels in our Learning Communities. Through these activities, students not only gained knowledge in variety subject areas, but also build a harmony of team study!
