This Semester ECE students have been exploring the topic of ‘Food’! As a part of our Inquiry-based learning, this week our children made their own sandwiches.
This was a great opportunity to discuss where the ingredients came from, the texture taste and smell of different foods and our personal preferences about foods.
The children were delighted to be in control and were able to choose what toppings they wanted. This activity was a huge success that supported our learning in a hands on manner; while providing a delicious afternoon snack for the students to enjoy.
