    • Right after celebrating the Chinese New Year, YCIS Chongqing is incredibly excited to announce the ground-breaking of our new building! Designed by a top international architectural firm that specializes in educational designs, this modern, innovative structure will allow our school to move beyond traditional notions of instruction defined and limited by the traditional rectangular classroom.

At YCIS Chongqing, our teaching staff and community have been striving to provide the best and most dynamic teaching program for all students. While developing this program, from ECE through Secondary, we have also established cutting-edge practices using progressive educational methods that maximize our students’ learning experiences while also serving the needs of our wider school community. With an expected completion date around December 2020, the new building will create numerous opportunities on this front. The school will enter a new era in its ability to provide authentic learning communities while continuing the Foundation’s mission to prepare our next generation for an exciting and rapidly evolving future.

Here are some of the highlights of the building:

      1. Six floors for learning
      2. Spacious, open-floor plan design purpose-built for learning communities
      3. Contemporary architectural plan to fully utilise natural light and maximize usable floor space
