The start of Semester 2, on Tuesday January 8, saw all students and staff back on campus, along with many new students from ECE to Secondary! Many of the students will have noticed some significant campus renovations over the Winter Break including the renovation/extension of stage in the Great Hall, a shaded bridge between the Secondary classrooms to the cafeteria, a new lighting system in the Gym, and a lot more! All these changes were completed during the Christmas holiday period and we are thankful to have such a loyal and energetic school support team who ensure campus safety that allows smooth school operations.

Further great news, which we wish to share with our community, is that three of our current Year 13 students have already received university acceptance offers to some of the world’s most prestigious universities, specifically University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Wisconsin. One of our Class of 2018 graduates recently received an offer from Kyung Hee University, which is one of the top universities in Korea. We congratulate all our students for their wonderful achievements and these placements are a great reward for their hard work! We also extend thanks to our teaching team and Secondary Leaders who have supported the many applications with references in support of our students.

On Friday, January 10, the school hosted the Parent-Teacher interviews which provided an excellent opportunity for parents to meet with their children’s teachers to learn more about their children’s academic performance and how they can continue to improve.
