IGCSE Class of 2019 Certificate Presentation
Friday 13th – unlucky for some, but not for most!! YCIS Chongqing IGCSE Class of 2019 were proudly presented with their IGCSE Certificates on the afternoon of Friday 13 December. These are the formal documents which confirm the final IGCSE results that our current Year 12 IBDP students received in the most recent summer examination session.
Caroling Around Town

Health and Well-Being Programme
This year YCIS Chongqing has introduced a Health and Well-Being Program for all of our Secondary students. On each Friday afternoon, after a week of studying hard, students had the opportunity to decompress by engaging in a physical activity of their choice.
A Welcome Visit from Santa’s Helpers at YCIS
A group of ‘Santa’s Helpers’ visited the school last week to decorate the school in readiness for Christmas and the holiday season. After the completion of the ‘School Christmas Decoration’ project, our thoughtful and generous Parent Organisation members brought an even bigger surprise to campus on Monday, 9th December.
Christmas Trees Appear on Campus as Holiday Approaches
Chilly weather never comes by itself to YCIS in December! At this time of the year, YCIS Parent Organization often brings warm holiday greetings to the campus! In early November, our PO leaders started to work on the Christmas decoration project and the goal is to dress the campus up with holiday decor that is beautiful as well as environmentally friendly.
The Power of Language
Every year, the secondary language teachers run a ‘Language Week’ which accumulates in a whole-school ‘Language Week Exhibition’. This exhibition showcases student-led interactive activities, displays, and performances, all of which are designed to celebrate language within our school.
