Once again YCIS Chongqing has hosted a hugely successful end-of-year enrichment activity, Model United Nations Week. Careering into Careers Week 2016
Over the week of June 13 to 17, YCIS Chongqing staged the 4th annual YCIS Careers Week with a range of activities and workshops designed to prepare students in Years 10 to 12 for life beyond high school.
K4 Kung Fu Dancing
After watching the movie Kung Fu Panda organized by Parent Organization, YCIS Chongqing K4 children developed a keen interest in Kung Fu Fighting. At YCIS, our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program focuses on children’s interest and the children’s needs determine their learning. In the past two weeks, our K4 teachers invited Ms. Tandye Noelle Calvano who is highly qualified and experienced to teach K4 children Kung Fu dancing.
Wonderful Parkour Night
On Tuesday June 7, 2016, YCIS Chongqing hosted its first ever Parkour Night. For nearly six weeks students from Years 4 to 10 overcame fears, pushed boundaries and successfully attempted skills that they never thought were possible.
