    • The 2017-2018 academic year was very successful for YCIS's Extra-Curricular Programme. In semester 2, more than 280 students participated in a variety of activities to either broaden or extend their skills and knowledge. From Year 1 to Year 13, students participated in the diverse programme.

Our sports enthusiasts were exposed to multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, flag football, swimming and even fencing. On the cultural and academic side, students had the opportunity to try their hand at cooking, robotics, science, scotch tape sculpture making, TedX, Korean language, and many students learned to play a new instrument. Aside from these, there were many other exciting activities offered in the programme.

The activities were thoroughly enjoyed by all YCIS students who took part and learned many new skills. We are looking forward to next year, in which the newly revised (and re-named) Co-Curricular Program starts on the 3rd of September. The program will incorporate the YCIS Learner Profile and will be following 6 learning outcomes, including service, teamwork, communication, leadership, challenge and problem-solving. We welcome all parents and others from the community who would like to share their skills and expertise with our students, to join us next year.
