
At Key Stage 4, all students embark upon a two-year programme of study leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations. These examinations form a bridge between Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 5.
All students take a combination of core subjects as well as a number of non-core subjects. The examinations are taken at the end of Year 11. During the IGCSE years, their particular interests and strengths vary across a variety of subjects.
A select group of students can opt out of English Literature.
The core subjects in Key Stage 4 are:
- English Language and Literature
- Chinese Language
- Mathematics
- Co-ordinated Science
The optional subjects in Key Stage 4 are:
- Art
- Geography
- Information and Communication Technology
- Music
- Physical Education
