On Sunday September 13, the Parents Organisation (PO) of YCIS Chongqing organised its first activity of this school year. With the extremely hot summer in Chongqing the best place to be is the swimming pool. So, all the YCIS families and staff were invited to join a pool party at Orchard Manor.
The day was perfect! All the kids, parents and teachers were armed with water guns and within half an hour the pool was turned into a big water fight! They also played water volleyball games. Finger food from each family and BBQ hot dog satisfied all the hungry soldiers, and our tasty ice-cream cooled everyone down before they left for home. It was a great start for PO to facilitate all members of the school community to know each other better, and to enrich the students' school life. |
