		Committed to Global Education Why global education? To put it simply, globalisation is turning our world into a village. Technology has propelled and fuelled this change on all levels. People of all ethnicities, faiths, cultures, languages and backgrounds are constantly encountering one another. Economic and political systems are now global in nature.


		Yew Chung International School of Chongqing (YCIS Chongqing) is the first international school in Chongqing City, China. The Chongqing Municipal Government encouraged the establishment of the school and the official registration was completed in September 2001. In winter 2007, YCIS Chongqing moved into a new and most beautiful, purpose-built campus. It is situated adjacent to Huangjue Park on Jinyu Road in the New Northern Chongqing Development Area, nestled safely between two tunnels, with an inspiring panoramic view from many of the classrooms.
